Midget (18U) Division - Marshall Field

Welcome to the 2023 Vernon Baseball Association 18U Season! 18U baseball is for players born in 2005, 2006, 2007. Baseball at this level is competitive and fast. Home games are played at Marshall Field Diamond #1, one of the nicest parks in the Okanagan! Registration for the 2023 season will open on December 19, 2022.

This year we will be fielding teams at the AA level, which typically plays a competitive interlock season with other interior teams from April – June. Hopefully, this will be the reality of this new season. In special circumstances, AA teams can form a summer team to compete at the provincial level.

We are still looking to bolster our coaching staff for this division. Please contact me right away if you are interested.

We will be running sessions in the indoor cage over the winter to get a jump on the start of the season and to get the players and coaches ready to start as soon as we can get onto the fields.

Making sports programs successful and fun takes a lot of work, and we would like to encourage any parents and family members to get involved.

Any players 'on the fence' about playing 18U baseball should email or call me so I can answer any questions they may have.
